Para. 4 Topic: reasons for such changes Topic sentence: What causes such fads to come and go? And why do so many people follow them? Para. 5 Topic: the difference between a fad and a trend Topic sentence: Dr. Santino points out that it’s sometimes difficult to see the difference between a fad and a trend. Para. 6 Topic: Eurokids Topic sentence: Some of the Eurokids’ fads will certainly disappear and others will come along, but it will be interesting to see if the trend continues and becomes a true part of European culture. B. 64 二、Language difficulties 1. sushi Sushi is a food of Japanese origin, in which pieces of raw or marinated(腌泡过的)fish are served in a variety of ways. Most often, the fish is served on top of cold rice which has been dressed with vinegar. Only the best, freshest fish can be used in sushi.
