Assessing 评价:通过本单元关于大学学习的主题词汇,句型的相关输入,学生再 次高质量产出任务,学生小组演讲:如何让大学过的丰富充实,检验本 单元教学重点难点的掌握情况。对学生的产出学习成果进行评价,采取 学生自评、教师评价、学生互评等方式进行,对学生的产出成果进行评 价,提出改进建议。 30 mins 1. Sharing your ideas: Guide Ss to review the structure and techniques used in the text to talk about the suggestions the writer has given to American parents. 2. Inspire Ss to finish their task of structuring a speech draft of what you expect to get from college experience with topic sentences. 3. Group work: Ask Ss to form groups of 4-5 members to share their speeches; each group selects the best speech to be presented to the whole class. 4. Provide comments on all the speeches in terms of content, structure, language and performance, and provide further suggestions. 5. Remind Ss to revise their own speech drafts and submit an improved one
