MaterialFlowOptimizationforMake-to-StockProductionSystemZHANG Bi-xi, ZHAO Wei LIAO Zhao-hui WANGJun(Economic Management Faculty, Guangdong University of Technology,Guangzhou510090, China)Abstract: Under the condition of the market competition becoming more and more drastic, thedemands of market take on some new features such as individuation, diversification, small batch,unstableness and quick delivery etc. The Make-to-Stock mode is usually adopted by many enterprisesto improve the balance and stableness of production process.In such enterprises, order batchproduction batch and sales batch are the important factors, which affect the satisfaction of clients.efficiency and benefit of the enterprise. It takes purchase, production and sales into accountrespectively when optimizing product batch in traditional way.However, it ignored the influences ofrelations between each links of whole system It is assumed that the consumption and market demandare continuous process whereas the factual demands are batched when economic batch is determined.So there exist some deviations between the economic batch determined by traditional way and that byintegral optimization Through the integral analysis of Logistics in the production system, we knowthat from materials are purchased, then manufactured, finally sold, the material changed in appearanceand value, it still exist in different links of production system. The amount of materials occupiedvaries just in different status, from stock status to production status, then to waiting-be-sold statusthere is not any substantial change in quantity until they are sold. In this paper, the production system is taken as a global entity, and in which materials variation law and their relations of each link are analyzed; To optimize the whole materials flow, a new model of multi-product system’s economic order batch, economic production batch and optimal sale lot multi-product systems.is developed which based on the limit of capitals and stock area.
