About theauthoronathanSwift was born in1667inDublin.Hewas educated atKilkennyGrammar School, and then Trinity College Dublin.After leavinguniversity he worked as secretaryto Sir William Temple,and becameinvolvedinpolitical lifeSwift was unhappy at the direction his career was taking,and he became aminister of the Church in 1694.He continued to takepart in political debatethrough his writing.
