Concept Windstroke is a disorder characterized by sudden loss of consciousness with distortion of the face,dysphasia,hemiplegia.The chief etiological factor is the wind,fire and phlegm.The ZangFu organs involved are liver, heart,spleen and kendney.The pathogenesis is disorder of Yin and Yang, and deficiency of ZangFu organs and meridians and collaterals Windstroke is seen in cerebral hemorrhage, cerebrovascular spasm,cerebral embolism, subarachaoid hemorrhage and their sequelae as well

1.Attack on the Meridians and Collaterals e Main manifestations:Hemiplegia, numbness of the limbs,deviation of the mouth and slurred speech e Accompanying symptoms and Signs: Headache,dizziness,vertigo,tinnitus,insomnia, dream-disturbed sleep,fever and chills,soreness and pain of the joints,muscular stiffness of the limbs
