Are the performers fluent in their lines oh Are the performers interacting with each other? 1)Image starters gam Gather up a collection of images of state-of-the-art science and technology in the contemporary world.(eg. Tesla, dji, windows, apple. Divide the class into small groups of four or five and have each group pick one image. Use the image as a prompt and ask each group to present to the whole class what information(explicit and implicit )they can get from the images O Recommended sentence patterns for presenting personal opinions on the picture I think Might be a symbol of I The atmosphere is peaceful/thrilling.. The lengths of the speeches can vary from 3 min to 10 min Speech topics fall in the three categories ① Informative: Introduce a concept/phenomenon/theory from the study of your major/from opular culture ② Persuasive Try to raise fund from an imagined audience for your business ideas/ charity Combination: Make a commencement speech at the 2048 Fudan University Commencement Ceremony. J b. The audience should ask questions, make comments and give suggestions as for further improvements of the speeches. They are advised to use the"matter-method manner"chart to evaluate the speeches

Ask students to discuss in small groups. Encourage them to use their imagination and think of wearable technology’s potential future. b. Have them make a list of the things that such technology could help us achieve in the future. Representatives in each group will deliver a 2-minute speech on what they have come up with in their group discussion. c.
