D in Chemistry. He taught Biochemistry at Boston University Medical School for a while and left in 1958 to devote himself full time to writing. A writer with over two hundred books to his credit(n), he is able to explain complex scientific processes in terms easily understandable to the lay(外行的) person.His books range from science fact and fiction to textbooks and major historical works
