Unit 7 Unit Objectives Sociology 1.Professional Knowledge Get acquainted with some important sociological concepts(e.g.subjective well-being,social motivation, conformity,Asch Effect,social anxiety disorders,etc.) 2.Reading Summarize the main idea of a text and identify essential supporting points Understand difficult sentences (e.g.sentences with indication of tense switch) Analyze complex or controversial issues critically (e.g. life satisfaction,work orientation,herd mentality,etc.)
