购买力平价理论 (purchasing-power parity,PPP) ●购买力平价理论是西方汇率理论中最具影响力 的理论之一，该理论由瑞典经济学家G.卡塞尔 在1922年的一篇论文（《1914年以后的货币与 外汇理论》)中正式提出的。购买力平价理论 分绝对购买力平价和相对买力平价两种理论。 3

基本思想 购买力平价理论的基本思想是：对于 货币持有者而言，货币的价值在于其所具 有的购买力，因此各国货币之间的兑换比 率应取决于它们各自具有的购买力。由于 货币的购买力可以通过物价水平来加以表 现，因此不同货币的兑换率（即汇率)就 是各国物价水平的比率。 4
