课程简介 通过对中国古代哲学和科学经典著作汉英对照本的探 究性阅读，在理解古典思想精髓的同时，分析古文 英译的特点与规律，通过具体文献的翻译实践，培 养学生进行中外文化交流的基本能力。 By inguiring reading of the Chinese-English classical works of ancient Chinese philosophy and science,the course will promote students to understand the quintessence of the works.By analyzing the characteristics and laws of the translation from the classical Chinese to English, and by practicing in translation cases,the course hope to develop students'ability in the multi- culture communication

..till the more recent antiquity,at my university,I above all got to know one name:Euclid.He brought mathematical theory to great perfection, and he towers high above his predecessors.He has opened new avenues,and has enlightened the path for later generations.His works are numerous and they are of exceptional level.In the books he wrote during his life time there isn't a single one that can be doubted.Especially his Elements is very exact and can rightly be called a standard work.It makes perfectly clear the way mathematics hangs together and why it does. Everything is contained in his theory and there is nothing that does not follow from it.That is why there used to be the saying:"with his other books he already surpassed others,but with this book he surpassed himself
