The teaching program of 《 Mechanics of oil and Gas Flow in Porous media》 Major: Petroleum Engineering, marine oil and gas engineering Periods: 54 Credits: 3 Course Type: Fundamentals of subject curriculum Course Property: required 1. Course Property Teaching Objective The course< Mechanics of Oil and Gas Flow in Porous Media is one of the main basic lessons of major petroleum engineering and major marine oil and gas engineering. Its purpose is through various teaching link to make the students master the law of the oil, gas, water flow in the formation, and the basic research method of the law of fluid flow in porous media. It can set good preparation for the student to choose a reasonable model to study the laws of fluid motion and prepare for the dynamic prediction according to the formation characteristics, fluid properties and geological conditions after graduation, and prepare necessary professional theoretical knowledge fo working out real issues in the process of oil and gas field development and research work 2. The teaching contents Introduction The basic contents and requirements History of fluid mechanics in porous medium and its main contents and its role in oil levelopment. The characteristics of this course and its learning methods. The relationship with other disciplines of this course Chapter 1 Basic law of percolation The basic contents and requirements 1)Static state in reservoirs, the distribution of oil and gas in reservoirs, oil-water interface, oil-gas nterface, the type of reservoir boundary, and some commonly used pressure concept in oil and as field development process (2) The main displacement force in reservoirs: hydrostatic pressure, elastic energy of formation and he fluid in it, elastic energy of dissolved gas, elastic energy of gas cap and action of gravity The definition and expression of compression coefficient of fluid and rock and the total coefficient of compressibility of fluid and rock. The drive mode of reservoirs ()Continuous medium. The Darcy's law and Darcy's formula, percolation velocity and actual elocity, the differential form of Darcy's law and dimension of permeability 4)Limitations of Darcy's law, criterion and the formula that determine the failure of Darcy's law Binomial percolation law, exponer Teaching focu The main drive force in reservoir, the limitations of Darcy's law Teaching difficulties Drive mode of reservoirs, criterion and the formula that determine the failure of Darcy s law Chapter 2 Steady state percolation of single-phase incompressible fluid The basic contents and requirements (1)Three basic forms of percolation; (2)Planar one-dimensional steady state percolation of single-phase incompressible fluid ()Planar radial fluid flow of single-phase incompressible fluid, resistance loss in the process of percolation, the concept of average formation pressure and its calculation (4) Classification and research methods of imperfect well, skin factor, systematic well testing (5)Continuing equation of single-phase fluid percolation, state equation, Darcy equation and the basic differential equation of single-phase compressible fluid percolation.
