I.IPM of Cotton 1.Control methods before and during sowing Cleaning deadwoods and fallen leaves; o Plowing and irrigating in winter; o Planting other crops with cotton Wheat and cotton are either sown on the basis of distance intervals of 50-80cm or on the basis of high-low rows.Wheat is sown in lower rows and cotton in higher rows in order to decrease the influence of irrigation on the cotton. 小麦播种时，小麦与棉花50-80m宽的粮棉插花带种植。或小麦与棉花 打成高低畦，小麦种在低畦，棉花种在高畦，以减少小麦灌水对棉花的影响

I.IPM of Cotton ◆ Choosing a resistant and excellent variety Treating or covering seeds with insecticides when sowing Spread15-23kgof5%Temik(铁灭克)GR, 22.5kgof3%Carbofuran(克百威)GR,15-30kgof 3%Furadan(呋喃丹)GRor5%3911 GR per hm2 into sowing ditches or points.These insecticides will control cotton aphids and mites for about 45-50 days.This method can control cotton thrips,seed maggots and any other ground pests

Catching adults of cotton boll borers during the first generation on the corn and sorghum seedlings or abstracting adults from cotton plants to oviposit on corn or sorghum plants,then destroying eggs and adults of the 2nd and 3rd generations. 棉花播种后，每隔10行棉花种1行玉米或高梁，穴距3，每穴留苗2 3株。于第1代棉铃虫成虫期在玉米心叶中捕捉成虫，在2、3代成虫期诱 虫诱卵，集中消灭。也可在棉田播种油菜诱集瓢虫，控制棉蚜的危害
