Why was the man told to buy another ticket at the Pan Am check-in desk in Washington? Because the London part of the tickets had been torn off while he was flying from, New York to Washington 3. Why couldn't the man buy a ticket at the check-in desk even if he wanted one at first Because they handled / sold bookings only. 4. When did the flight which the man finally take off?( the next /following morning )
